Recycled Type 1

As an alternative to “primary” engineering aggregates, this is recycled at our Mannings Heath (Poole) Depot, and meets the grading for Recycled Type 1 to the Specification for Highway Works. Ideal as a sub-base to patios or driveways. Certificates of conformity available on request. All our Recycled Products are delivered in a bulk bag when ordered online, but give us a call if you require a quote for bulk tipper loads. Please note bags weigh approximately one tonne including packaging.

This is a recycled product that is only sold when meeting the correct technical specifications for a sub-base. The product will vary visually from the sample photo according to the input materials that are processed/recycled and conditions. Since it is specified and sold for use as a sub-base and is not recommended as a final top dressing, its aesthetics should not generally be a concern; if you are looking for top dressing or products with decorative or aesthetic value, please look at our ‘Decorative Chippings’ section.
